OK, I’m no expert on acting. But I have to wonder how the schools from which these “paid professional actors” who appear on ads for life insurance feel. If the people portraying the ailing parent laying out their plans for their final expenses actually graduated, then I have to wonder about the schools themselves.
I mean, come on. If they’re not reading from a TelePrompTer, then I don’t understand why they seem to lack any kind of convincing demeanor when they’re delivering their lines. You can tell that they’re trying very hard to insert some “punch” into their lines, but it just doesn’t come across. I’ve seen better acting in high school plays.
